God's amazing. At the end of the day yesterday, it seemed very clear that the theme was rescue. I had read Psalm 18 the night before, and a verse popped out at me, so I took it as my memory verse for Thursday:
He brought me out into a spacious place;
He rescued me because He delighted in me.
Psalm 18:19
Then last night I opened my daily reading from Ransomed Heart Ministries to see this title:
RESCUE is God's plan
Yes, the word "rescue" was in all caps in their title. Wow. Yes, Lord, You have my attention. Save me from my self-redemptive strategies. Save me from my plans. Save me from doing things my way. Bring me close and pour out Your love.
I love it when He gets my attention like this.
